Bridging The Gap Between Digital and Traditional

I am torn between my training in traditional art, and love of modern technology. In my work I try combine a little of both worlds. I embrace the modern, and utilize traditional training. I am neither a full digital artist, or traditional painter. I am somewhere in between. I experiment with digital apps, and produce works with physical pigments. My work is consistently evolving and changing with technology, and my views of the fast changing society that we now live in. I hope that I am a contemporary artist in the true sense that my work reflects the current world we live in, and my tools are not confined to past values, and standards. I wish to utilize every tool, and material available to me to create original works of art that hopefully are a good representation of the world we live in today. I believe that how we see the world with each of our own unique perspective is far more valuable than how we choose to represent those views. Whether it's the finest linen canvas, or laser etched aluminum, it's all valid and relevant.
